Record rainfall was recorded this summer, as Typhoon No. 12 brought more than 2,000 millimeters of torrential rain to the Kii Peninsula, and Typhoon No. 15 brought more than 1,000 millimeters of rain to parts of the Kyushu and Shikoku regions.......
