    Man who returned from DRC does not have Ebola, says Sarawak Health director

    SIBU: A 47-year-old man from Kapit who had returned from the Democratic Republic of the Congo a month ago is believed to have contracted a dangerous virus, but it is not Ebola.
    Photos and a video clip of the man in a hysterical state at about 3.30pm on Sunday (May 27) at a supermarket had gone viral...

    (May 28) that clinical examination by a hospital revealed that the patient was not suffering from Ebola but was suspected to have contracted a dangerous virus.

    The hospital she said is working round-the-clock to determine the cause of his illness.

    May 28 (Bernama) -- The Sarawak State Health Department (JKNS) today denied that a 47-year-old Iban man from Kapit who fainted at a supermarket here yesterday afternoon, was infected with the Ebola virus.

    JKNS director Dr. Jamilah Hashim said the Sibu Hospital had reported that the man was still unconscious, and on respiratory aid...
