  • During the third round surveillance conducted on the poultry farms around the first H5N3 infected duck farm detected in Hualien County in 2013, another H5N3 avian influenza virus was isolated from swabs taken from a meat-type duck farm on 18 November 2013.
  • Movement restriction was conducted.
  • The result of clinical investigation showed that the ducks were in healthy condition without clinical signs and abnormal mortality.
