About the correspondence of Motoichi that received the positive judgment of A type avian influenza virus in Kyoto city

Dead birds collected in Kyoto city today were judged positive for type A avian influenza virus as a result of genetic testing. In response to this, we announced the urgent meeting of Kyoto City Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Agency Liaison Conference.
At the conference, each related department shared information on this case and reconfirmed the correspondence such as strengthening measures at the zoo. We will continue to implement appropriate measures such as preventing spread of infections to poultry, strengthening the liaison system within the agency, and collecting and transmitting accurate information.
