Snow may cause bird flu outbreak in western Japan

Avian influenza has been reported in 2 prefectures along the Pacific coast, bringing the number of places where the disease has been confirmed in Japan to 18.

The new outbreaks were reported from Tuesday through early Wednesday in the western prefecture of Wakayama and neighboring Mie Prefecture.....
