Suspected case of bird flu reported in Aichi
A suspected case of bird flu has been reported at a poultry farm in Aichi Prefecture, central Japan.
The agriculture ministry said on Wednesday that about 300 chickens died in the past 2 days at the farm in Toyohashi city, and 4 of them have reportedly tested positive for bird flu.
Aichi prefecture is conducting genetic screening to confirm the result. It has also told the farm to refrain from transferring any of the 150,000 chickens it owns....
