"This strain is H5N1. It is not dangerous for humans, not highly pathogenic, it collapses at 40-50 degrees. Yes, there were cases of human infection when there was an outbreak for the first time in China, but now there is no such danger," Ruslan Sharipov told Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Outbreaks of bird flu occur during the migration of wild birds to Kazakhstani lakes - poultry of the population living near water bodies becomes infected, he said.
"This is a temporary phenomenon, now the bird will fly away, frosts will come and will pass. It mainly comes to us from Russia. As you know, two or three outbreaks in the Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Kurgan regions have already been destroyed for a month. 1 , 5 million laying hens. The state authorities will be engaged in the mechanism of payment of compensation to the owners of the dead birds, he said.

873 thousand doses of domestic drugs against highly pathogenic avian influenza have been allocated for the vaccination of animals in the territories bordering the Russian Federation.
