        Govt to reject personnel authority's wage cut

        .....However, the government had previously submitted a bill to the Diet in June this year seeking an average 7.8 percent cut in wages and bonuses. It was designed to secure enough funds to rebuild areas hit by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami.

                              Tokyo Disneyland operator's group net profit falls 46&#37; in April-Sept.

                              TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Tokyo Disneyland operator Oriental Land Co. said Friday its group net profit in the April to September period fell 46.0 percent from a year earlier to 8.68 billion yen due to the extended closure of its amusement park and other facilities following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

                              ONAGAWA, Miyagi -- A three-story temporary housing complex for victims of the March 11 disasters -- the first of its kind in Japan -- was completed here on Nov. 4, paving the way for the closure of the town's disaster shelters next week.
