    Navajo Nation Reports Two Cases Of COVID-19

    The Navajo Department of Health says two members of the Navajo Nation have tested positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

    Health officials say both patients are from the Kayenta area.

    One of the patients had a recent travel history and reported their symptoms to the Kayenta Health Center and was taken to a hospital off the Nation for testing.

    Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez said health and emergency officials are taking the proper precautions to screen and isolate the person’s family members...

        Arizona's count of reported presumptive positive and confirmed coronavirus patients rose to 31 on Wednesday after new cases were confirmed in Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties and the Navajo Nation, Coconino County announced its first case and Luke Air Force Base announced two cases.

                        Some more details here for AZ.

                        The breakdown of metro Phoenix cases is 37% for ages 18-40, 33% for 41-65 and 30% for 66 and older, according to Maricopa County Public Health.

                        Twenty-five Maricopa County patients have been hospitalized, 18% of the total cases, with seven in the intensive care unit.


                        The Arizona health department reported 82 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday morning, pushing the state total to 234 positive coronavirus tests.
