    An outbreak of bird flu recorded near Nikolaev

    An outbreak of bird flu was recorded near Nikolaev - there a resident of the village reported the mass death of chickens. The analysis revealed in the dead bird influenza virus type, A subtype H5 - bird flu.


    The incident occurred on December 4 in the village of Kandybino, Novoodesskiy region of Nikolayevshchina. It is known that a resident of the village reported the death of the bird to the veterinary service, writes Novosti-N.

    The biological material of the dead birds was sent to the Odessa Regional State Laboratory for Food Safety. Analysis confirmed the presence of avian influenza. Now in the village of Kandybino, quarantine measures are being taken, since a person can also be infected with this type of flu.

      Bird flu found in a cottage village on the border with Kiev

      Irpen, Bucha, Gostomel and Kotsyubinskoe are in the observation zone

      In a private household of the cottage town "Canadian Village" in the locality of Mostishche, belonging to the Gostomel village and directly bordering on the territory of Kiev, during molecular genetic studies, the RNA of the avian influenza virus (type A subtype H5N8) was detected.
      According to the Main Directorate of the State Food and Consumer Service in the Kiev region, this conclusion of the study was provided on January 18 by the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise.
