    • Epidemiological comments
      • Following the epidemiological investigation on the event occurred in Guanajuato, the spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza virus was identified through surveillance in eleven production units (5 commercial layer farms, one broiler farm and 5 breeder farms) with a total affected population of 1,014,018 birds, of which 62,158 sick and 49,665 dead.
