Epidemiological comments Intensive surveillance and implementation of control measures remain in force in the North-East of the country following the Rushinga FMD outbreak reported in the last week of June 2018. FMD virus continues to spread along the border with Mozambique and further inwards. Further laboratory investigations are ongoing to determine the potential co-infection with SAT3.
