    The disease has been reported in seven out of 12 districts and towns in Lam Dong province, with Duc Trong district being the hardest hit.
    By Monday, in the district alone, 2,250 pigs and bulls had contracted the disease, with over 800 dying.
    Lam Dong might have to announce an outbreak of the disease in the coming days, Pham Van An, director of the province?s Agriculture and Rural Development Department, said.
    The province has 669 poultry- and cattle-trading spots, nearly 500 of them illegal.
