    Epidemiological comments Contact with the infected animals at a grazing point. District and township veterinary staff, as well as Community Animal Health workers, have visited the infected and the surrounding villages (14-05-2018) for disease control and ring vaccination. Headquarter Epidemiology Team also visited the infected village for outbreak investigation. The farmer and colleagues didn't bury dead animal carcass and consumed the meat. Because of this, five people got infected (their hands and legs). At the moment they are recovering from the disease.

    • Contact with infected animal(s) at grazing/watering
    Epidemiological comments Contact with the infected animals at a grazing point. Veterinary officer and staff visited the infected villages (12-04-2018) and epidemiology team also visited the infected township for the outbreak investigation and disease control. The farmer (owner) and colleagues did not bury the carcasses but consumed the meat of died cattle and buffaloes. Due to this, the infection spread to humans.
