The regional manager of the health of Nabeul, Sami Rekik, denied rumours circulating to the inhabitants of the city around the decease of a woman of quarantine years, in the regional hospital Mohamed Tahar Maamouri de Nabeul, following an infection by the virus of aviaire influenza H1N1.
HE underlined, in a statement to the correspondent of the agency TAP, on Wednesday, that ? the viral analyses of influenza aviaire, in the region, do not grow to anxiety and what there is only the single case under medical surveillance ?. He explained that ? requests were issued to perform analyses on three other additional suspicious cases, to take necessary measures at the appropriate time ?.
The regional manager maintained, on the other hand, that ? different health units of the gouvernorat of Nabeul are in a fit state of permanent alertness and perform a monitoring continue health cases ?, adding that ? the appearance of case at the end of the winter causes no fear, especially with the detachment of infections by influenza ?.
