Namibia: H1N1 Flu Outbreak in Keetmans District Subsides

THERE have been no more H1N1 flu outbreaks in the Keetmanshoop hospital district, except for isolated cases.
Confirming that the 'swine' flu epidemic appears to have subsided, primary healthcare supervisor Rauna Namukwambi said: "The H1N1 flu outbreak is over. People who were treated have recovered well, and for now we do not foresee any problem."
According to Namukwambi, about 4 000 people with symptoms linked to the H1N1 flu have been treated at health facilities in the Keetmanshoop hospital district since November 1
