DJIBOUTI (ADI) - 08 Sept 2007- Workshop of formation on the monitoring of the disease of the aviary influenza opened this morning at the National Institute of the Public administration (INAP) to the profit of the technicians and agents of the ministry for agriculture and the breeding.
This workshop animated by a consultant Mauritanian, M.Yacouba Kane lies within the scope of the programme of prevention and fight against the aviary influenza initiate by the ministry for agriculture with the financing of the World Bank.
Work of this seminar which will be spread out over three days aims at making it possible to the experts of the department of agriculture to familiarize itself with the monitoring systems of the major animal diseases such as the aviary influenza or the fever of the Rift Valley.
In a short speech which it pronounced with the opening of this workshop, the director of the breeding recalled that Djibouti government A at once reacts as of the appearance of the epidemic of the aviary influenza in our country, by setting up an intersector committee for a better coordination of the activities of the government departments engaged in the fight against this disease.
