                This Tuesday, April 21, 2020, the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 in Djibouti is as follows:

                811 tests carried out.
                99 Covid-19 positive cases: they are still contact persons;
                842 patients currently on treatment;
                10 cases cured;

                It should be noted that the data presented today is that of April 20, 2020. Indeed, given the heavy rains observed last night, the work of analysis of the results of diagnostic tests could not be finalized today.

                Regarding the situation of patients currently on treatment, we affirm that they all present a clinical state deemed satisfactory without any complication noted.

                However, as underlined by the President of the Republic in his address on April 20, 2020, the disease is progressing rapidly and we are seeing a continuous increase in contact cases.

                Also, it is our duty to remind again and again the importance of all barrier measures to limit the circulation of the virus.

                The Ministry of Health does not lose sight of other health problems, particularly in this announced period of rain, where the risk of recrudescence of vector-borne diseases remains present.

                Finally, concerning the assessment of the national situation of Covid-19, in total:

                8955 tests were carried out;
                945 Covid-19 positive cases were detected;
                112 cases are confirmed cured;

                Stay home.
