Burkina Faso has 33 confirmed cases including one death, announced on Thursday March 19, 2020 Pr Martial Ou?draogo, national coordinator of the response to the COVID-19 epidemic.
Out of the 33 confirmed cases in Burkina Faso, the capital Ouagadougou has 31, the second city, Bobo-Dioulasso, has one case and the city of Hound? has one case.
The national coordinator of the response to the COVID-19 epidemic, Pr Martial Ou?draogo, cited three types of outbreaks on Thursday, March 19, 2020. This is the initial outbreak (the couple infected from the start) , that of Hound? and the diplomatic center. The city of Bobo-Dioulasso is part of the diplomatic center.
For the response unit, what is recommended in case of suspected contamination is to stay at home and call. "Unfortunately, there are people who get up and go to health centers," regrets the doctor Martial Ou?draogo. "I understand that it's a survival reflex but you have to follow the instructions," he urges.
