Angola recorded three more deaths and 31 new cases of the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to health authorities today.

At a press conference in Luanda, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, said that there were also 94 recovered from the disease. With these figures, the country now has 1,109 infected, 51 deaths, 395 recovered and 663 active cases.
The new cases are aged between 16 and 83 years old and come, mostly (28), from the province of Luanda. The remaining three are isolated cases in Cabinda, U?ge and Lunda Norte.
"The good news is the recovery, for the first time, of 94 people in the last 24 hours", a record, according to health authorities, explained the Angolan Secretary of State.
In Africa, there are 18,884 confirmed deaths in almost 893,000 infected in 54 countries, according to the most recent statistics on the pandemic in that continent ...
