An isolated hospital director: Loss of smell is not the main symptom of Corona

Dr. Sherif Mohsen, General Coordinator of Ain Shams Specialized University Isolation Hospitals, said that the speed of the spread of the Corona virus this year is greater than last year, and we are fighting to not increase the number of Coronavirus infections.
He added during a telephone interview with the media, Ahmed Fayek, through his program, Egypt can be broadcast on the dmc channel, that the increase in infections with the Corona virus at a large rate, and we are approaching the peak of the second wave infections, pointing out that we do not currently rely on swabs to determine infections, analyzes and x-rays, which are the first steps to deciding.
He continued that the cases of children so far are still in the same rates of infections as the first wave of the Corona virus, adding that children do not realize the loss of the sense of smell, which delays the discovery of the infection, pointing out that for all contacts, isolation is the best way to resolve infection with Corona or not.
He added that the loss of the sense of smell is not the main symptom of Corona, and it will return within two weeks after infection.
