Yesterday, February 24, at 10:30 am Da Nang city welcomed a flight with 80 passengers from Daegu, South Korea. Authorities have conducted classification of passengers right from the foot of the aircraft. Among them are 58 Vietnamese, 2 from Thailand and 20 from South Korea.
58 Vietnamese passengers were arranged by the Military Command of Da Nang City to an isolated shuttle at Dong Nghe Mobilization Pre-training Center, Hoa Vang district.
The foreign group was then taken to Lung Hospital for isolation. Specifically, 22 international visitors including 20 Korean nationals and two Thai tourists were arranged to be isolated at Da Nang Lung Hospital. However, the Korean tourists refused to cooperate in isolation.
In the morning of February 25, leader of the City People's Committee. Da Nang had an urgent meeting with the Steering Committee for the prevention of acute respiratory infections caused by a new strain of corona virus (Covid-19), causing a discussion on the arrangement of this tourist group.
Accordingly, the steering committee came to the judgment, the best option is to arrange a separate flight to bring all Korean tourists to the country if they want. In case they want to stay in Vietnam, they must carry out isolation according to the guidance and regulations of the Ministry of Health. Up to now, all these tourists are still being arranged separately in Da Nang Lung Hospital.
