Seems they may not be meeting the strict criteria for testing. Looks like they are not PUI until a fever. Self monitoring started 1-31. Per DHS: Anyone coming from Hubei, China province within 14 days of their return will be subject to up to 14 days of mandatory quarantine. U.S. citizens who have been in other areas of mainland China within the last 14 days "will undergo proactive entry health screening and up to 14 days of self-quarantine.” https://www.reuters.com/article/us-c...-idUSKBN1ZW0SA

Three more cases of coronavirus being investigated in Virginia

                      by Elizabeth Tyree
                      Wednesday, March 4th 2020
RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- Three potential cases of coronavirus are pending testing with the Virginia Department of Health.

The VDH said it is closely monitoring and investigating reports of illness potentially associated with COVID-19. Only people who are sick and meet specific epidemiologic criteria are tested for COVID-19. The number of people who meet these criteria is updated every weekday between 10 and 11 a.m.

To protect patient confidentiality, VDH will not provide additional details about people who were tested...https://wset.com/news/coronavirus/th...ed-in-virginia

Virginia's third coronavirus case hits DC suburb Arlington County

BY JUSTINE COLEMAN - 03/09/20 01:34 PM EDT
Health officials in Virginia on Monday confirmed the state's third coronavirus case, in the D.C. suburb of Arlington County.

The virus has infected an individual in their 60s who recently traveled abroad, the county and the Virginia Department of Health announced. The other two cases involve a resident in Fairfax City and a U.S. Marine at Fort Belvoir. Both locations are suburbs of Washington, D.C., as well.

D.C. confirmed its first presumptive case Saturday.
The Arlington County individual experienced a fever, cough and shortness of breath after international travel. The patient is receiving medical care and currently recovering, officials said.

The case is considered “presumptive” because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have yet to confirm it.

“The individual had limited contact with others while ill and the risk to the general Arlington community remains low,” Arlington County said in a statement.
