    Live Updates: 67 Known Coronavirus Cases In Oregon; 3rd Clark County Patients Dies

    Third Clark County Patient Dies


    A third Clark County, Washington, patient died from COVID-19 late Tuesday night.

    Clark County health officials report the man was in his 70s and was the first confirmed patient in the county to contract the disease. He had been hospitalized at Oregon Health & Science University.

          Marion County reports coronavirus death; 4th in Oregon
          Earlier on Friday, the Oregon Health Authority announced there were 26 more known cases of the coronavirus, the largest single day spike in the state.

          PORTLAND, Ore. — A person in Marion County has died from the coronavirus, county officials said Friday. The death is the fourth in Oregon connected to COVID-19;

          No information about the person was released but in a statement on the county website, Commissioner Colm Willis wrote, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we ask everyone to continue to take necessary precautions to minimize your exposure to COVID-19."

                ...Oregon’s sixth COVID-19 death was a 78-year-old man in Clackamas County, who tested positive on March 15 and died Sunday at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center. He had underlying medical conditions.

                Oregon’s seventh death was a 63-year-old man in Multnomah County who had underlying medical conditions and was not hospitalized at the time of death. He tested positive on March 16 and died Monday.

                Oregon’s eighth death was a 90-year-old woman in Washington County, who tested positive last Thursday and died Monday at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. She, too, had underlying medical conditions OHA said...

                              OHA: 58 NEW CORONAVIRUS CASES; 3 NEW DEATHS

                              OHA announced the latest round of cases at about noon Monday.

                              SALEM, Ore. -- On Monday, the Oregon Health Authority announced three new deaths linked to coronavirus and 58 new cases.
                              ...
                              One of the deaths was a 91-year-old veteran at the veterans' home in Lebanon. He tested positive March 15 and died on Sunday.

                              The other new deaths include a 91-year-old Yamhill County man who tested positive March 20 and died Sunday at Providence Newberg Medical Center and an 80-year-old Clackamas County man who tested positive March 22 and died Sunday at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.
