5 hospital employees test positive, remain in isolation

Five Guam Memorial Hospital employees tested positive for COVID-19, said GMH Administrator Lillian Perez-Posadas.
Four of the staff are in isolation at their homes and one is in isolation at the hospital...
...Officials also announced that three passengers who had been quarantined when they arrived from the Philippines at government designated quarantine facilities tested positive for COVID-19.

Press Release Posted on Date: 04/03/2020 11:45 pmThe Joint Information Center was recently notified that on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 6:41 p.m. (ChST), Guam’s fourth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH). The patient was a 67-year-old female with underlying health issues, which were compounded by COVID-19. The patient had recent travel history to the Philippines.
“Jeff and I send our deepest condolences to her family and everyone who loved her. While COVID-19 has taken so much from so many, it can never rob us of who we are to each other. Tell your kids you love them tonight and heal old wounds wherever they might exist,” said Governor Lou Leon Guerrero. “Tonight we mourn but tomorrow we continue the fight to save those we love.”
The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 19 individuals for COVID-19 on Friday, April 3, 2020 with conclusive results. Two (2) tested positive through DPHSS and 17 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.
The DPHSS overall count also includes six positive cases that were tested by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego. To date, a total of 84 cases tested positive with 14 patients who have recovered and four deaths.

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 38 individuals for COVID-19 on Sunday, April 5, 2020 with conclusive results. Seventeen (17) tested positive through DPHSS and 21 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.
An additional two cases of COVID-19 have been clinically diagnosed. While these cases have tested negative, they have imaging findings consistent with COVID-19, display typical COVID-19 symptoms, have epidemiological links to previously confirmed cases, and are being treated as COVID-19 cases.
The DPHSS overall count also includes nine positive cases that were tested by the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego.
...Guam's volume of positive coronavirus cases now stands at 112 since cases were first reported on March 15, after Sunday's evaluations determined that 17 more people have tested positive for COVID-19. The Joint Information Center stated that an additional 2 cases were clinically-diagnosed – meaning that those people initially tested negative, but had imaging consistent with coronavirus, as well as having epidemiological links to people that previously tested positive...
...The overall count of 141 cases includes probable cases of COVID-19 and confirmed positive cases tested by the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, U.S. Naval Hospital Guam, Guam Memorial Hospital Authority and Diagnostic Laboratory Services.
There have been five deaths and 128 recoveries. All remaining cases are in isolation...
Governor: GovGuam doing robust COVID testing

The Department of Public Health and Social Services, along with other local health care facilities, have increased the number of testing performed over the past month, Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero said Wednesday.
As of May 27, a total of 5,803 samples were tested. Testing began on March 12. Of the total, 170 cases were confirmed to have COVID-19. There have been five deaths.
