UAE reports 15 new Covid-19 cases, total now at 113
As of Tuesday, 127,000 individuals had been tested for coronavirus in the UAE
On Tuesday night, the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) announced 15 new Covid-19 coronavirus cases in the country taking the total number of confirmed cases to 113.
“The new cases have been detected through the ministry’s early monitoring and reporting system and after examining those who had been in close contact with already confirmed cases in addition to individuals coming from abroad who had been all under quarantine,” said MoHaP in a statement, reported by official news agency WAM.
“The newly confirmed cases are all in a stable condition and receiving all required healthcare services. They belong to different nationalities, including one individual each from Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia, Germany, USA, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, and Bangladesh, in addition to two persons each from Britain and Spain,” added the ministry...
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced that country's the first two deaths from the novel coronavirus Saturday.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention said an Arab national, 78, who came from Europe, had a heart attack, "coinciding with complications" from the virus.
The second patient was a 58-year-old Asian and resident of the UAE, who had prior chronic illnesses, including heart disease and kidney failure, which "further complicated" abilities to fight the virus.

The new cases include three people each from Britain and Pakistan, four from Bangladesh, and one each from Portugal, Poland, and the US, she said, stressing that they are all in a stable condition and receiving all necessary healthcare services.
The new recoveries are from various nationalities as well, including two each from India and the UAE, and one each from Italy, Britain, and the Philippines, bringing to 38 the total tally of those who have already recovered from the disease in the country, she explained.
Al Hosani added that two deaths from COVID-19 were confirmed in the country on Friday.
"The first was a 78-year old Arab national who had arrived in the country from Europe. The cause of death was a heart attack, coinciding with complications from coronavirus. The other individual, a 58-year-old Asian national and resident of the UAE, had prior chronic illnesses – heart disease and kidney failure – which further complicated their inability to fight the disease," she explained, stressing that both individuals had received all necessary medical care in the country’s medical facilities...

Abu Dhabi: The UAE on Sunday announced 1 death from COVID-19, and 102 new cases.
This brings the total number of diagnosed cases to 570.
The health ministry spokesperson revealed the new numbers in Abu Dhabi.
The 102 new cases of COVID-19 were identified by tracing contacts of previously announced infections, and failed to adhere to preventive measures and physical distance, in addition to cases related to travel abroad.

Abu Dhabi: The UAE on Monday announced 41 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 611. All are in stable condition except two, who are in critical condition.

Mohamed Nass - Dubai - The UAE Government has announced the detection of 41 new coronavirus cases among various nationalities, taking to 611 the number of infections in the country.
The government also announced the full recovery of three patients and the death of two patients due to health complications. A 48-year-old Arab national died while suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes, while an Asian national who died at age 42 also suffered from heart disease. COVID-19 fatalities have now reached five in the UAE...
