The number of people currently hospitalised with COVID-19 is sixteen, with two patients in intensive care. 955 individuals have been discharged from hospital (including certain short-term stays).

The number of people having tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Luxembourg stands at 4,447 (up 52 from Thursday), including 110 fatalities (unchanged) resulting from the virus, as of early evening on Friday 3 July 2020.

The coronavirus pandemic continued to progress in Luxembourg with 75 new infections over the weekend, according to the latest figures from the health ministry.
A total of 224,953 tests were carried out in the Grand Duchy to date.
The number of deaths has remained unchanged at 110 since the end of May. There are now 22 people in hospital, with three of those in intensive care. This is an increase of six hospitalisations over the week.
