    The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed that the new total of coronavirus cases in Lebanon is now 333. In its March 25th COVID-19 report, the ministry revealed the number of new coronavirus infections.

    The report said: “Until 25/03/2020, the total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, accredited university hospital laboratories, as well as private laboratories has reached 333 after 29 cases were recorded since yesterday.”

    It also confirmed that a total of 50 cases have been received from laboratories not approved by the ministry...

      Lebanon's COVID-19 cases rise to 368

        With the announcement of the total of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Lebanon on Friday, March 27th, the Ministry of Public Health confirmed 1 new death related to the disease.

        The daily coronavirus report released by the Health Ministry said the deceased was suffering from chronic diseases before his death at Saint George University Hospital.

        The ministry also said that the patient was in the eighth decade of his life when he passed away. With this new death, the total of coronavirus-related fatalities in Lebanon has become 7 as of Friday, March 27th...

            Lebanon reports 446 COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths

            BEIRUT, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Monday that the number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 446 with a death toll of 11, the National News Agency reported.

            In addition, 32 patients were healed and returned to home, the ministry said, urging people not to leave their houses during the epidemic.

            Meanwhile, Health Minister Hamad Hassan announced that various public hospitals across the country are ready to receive patients with respiratory problems and suspected coronavirus cases...

              Lebanon registered 17 new cases of coronavirus and one more death, the Health Ministry said in its daily tally on the pandemic on Tuesday.

              The Ministry said the tally includes laboratory-confirmed cases reported by the state-run Rafik Hariri University Hospital and private hospitals and laboratories.

              The new tally brings the total of cases to 463 infected and 12 dead....

                Lebanese hospitals have previously announced the number of infected people has been increasing slowly because the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) labs needed to test all suspected infections is not sufficiently available...

                    The report said that until 02/04/2020, the total of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, accredited university hospital laboratories, and private laboratories has reached 494 after 15 cases were recorded since yesterday...

                    ...As of Thursday, the number of total recoveries is 43. With the latest updates taken into account, the total of active cases is now 435, only 3 of which are considered in critical condition.

                    On the other hand, the total number of fatalities is 16 as of Thursday.

                          Lebanon's COVID-19 cases rise to 508

                          BEIRUT, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's number of COVID-19 infections increased on Friday by 14 cases to a total of 508, while the death toll went up by one additional case to reach 17, the National News Agency reported.

                          Lebanon is expected to repatriate Lebanese nationals stranded in some epidemic-hit countries starting on April 5 by sending four planes to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, and Cote D'Ivoire.,,

                              The Ministry of Public Health announced, in a statement on Sunday, that “seven new laboratory-confirmed cases infected with the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been registered, including the cases diagnosed at the Rafic Hariri Governmental Hospital, and those reported from other university hospitals accredited by the Ministry.”

                              “The total number of confirmed Corona patients until today, April 5, has reached 527 cases,” the Ministry’s statement added.

                              In wake of the increase in the number of infected cases, the Ministry reiterated the crucial need to implement all preventive measures and strictly reminded all citizens to remain at home.
                              "The only security we have is our ability to adapt."
