At a daily briefing, the ministry's spokesman Abdullah Al-Sanad said that two cases are a Kuwaiti woman who has recently returned from Britain and a Kuwaiti man who has recently arrived back from Saudi Arabia.

Dubai: Kuwait on Wednesday announced 28 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infected people to 317. In a press conference, Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad, Health Ministry’s spokesperson, said seven COVID-19 sufferers have fully recovered, pushing the total recoveries to 80.

He said the new cases are linked to travel. The newly infected people were in close contact with previously diagnosed persons who came from abroad. They include 22 Indians, two Bangladeshi and one Nepalese and three Kuwaitis. They have been put under quarantine...

Kuwait reported 77 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 556, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.
