The two passengers have been placed in quarantine in their cabins on board the vessel. Around 1,200 people reported to be on board are not allowed to leave the ship, according to a report by E24.
The cruise ship was scheduled to leave southwestern harbour Haugesund at 5pm on Monday.
“We were informed by the ship’s agent that there are two people who may have the coronavirus sickness and that they wanted them to be tested,” Teis Qvale, a doctor specializing in infectious disease protection in Haugesund, told Norway's national broadcaster NRK.
