    A total of 4,240 Scottish tests have concluded. Of these:
    • 4,087 tests were confirmed negative
    • 153 tests were positive

    Sadly, one patient in Scotland who tested positive for Coronavirus has died.

    The first case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland was confirmed in March 2020.

            The number of coronavirus patients who have died in Scotland has doubled from three to six.

            Nicola Sturgeon also confirmed the number of Scots who had tested positive for Covid-19 had increased to 266 - a rise of 39 from Wednesday's total...

              Coronavirus in Scotland LIVE as six people die and 322 confirmed cases


              Nicola Sturgeon confirmed the number of positive cases has increased.
              A total of 322 people in Scotland have tested positive for coroanvirus in Scotland - with six deaths.

              The new figure is an overnight increase of 56 - the highest since the pandemic began in Scotland.

              It is not know where the patients are from who have died.

              The second patient is from the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board and had underlying health conditions. Meanwhile the first death was from the Lothian area.

              First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed schools will close from Friday with no confirmed time frame as to when they will reopen.
