The Ministry of Public Health presented the official figures of COVID-19 for this Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Ecuador.
The number of confirmed infected is 78,148 and the number of deaths confirmed by COVID-19 rises to 5,439, although the probable deaths by COVID-19 are 3,412.
106,022 cases have been ruled out and 216,974 samples have been taken, between PCR and rapid, to date.
The provinces with more than one hundred deaths confirmed by COVID-19 are: Guayas with 1,645 (one more than yesterday), Manab? with 762 (five more than yesterday), Pichincha with 653 five more than yesterday), Santa Elena with 329, Los R?os with 314, El Oro with 320 (one more than yesterday), Santo Domingo de los Ts?chilas with 218 (one more than yesterday), Chimborazo with 194 (one more than yesterday), Tungurahua with 164 (three more than yesterday) and Cotopaxi with 160.
Of the infected, 5900 are recovered patients, with hospital discharge 10 291, with epidemiological discharge 17 264; 38 125 are stable in home isolation, 790 are stable and hospitalized with a reserved prognosis of 339. (I)
