COPENHAGEN, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- A second case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Denmark, the National Board of Health said in a press release on Friday.

Four new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Denmark on Monday evening, bringing the country’s total to 10.
In a measure aimed at protecting the country’s sick and elderly from exposure to the virus, all healthcare workers in the country who have travelled to outbreak areas within in the last 14 days will now be required to remain at home, the Ministry of Health has announced...
As of Thursday morning, there were 349 cases spread across all but one federal state, up from 240 on Wednesday morning and compared with 262 on Wednesday afternoon, the Robert Koch Institute said.
The hardest-hit state is the western region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous, with 175 cases.

A further eight people have been confirmed as having tested positive for coronavirus in Denmark, the country’s Patient Safety Authority (Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed, DPSA) said in an update.
That brings the total confirmed number of infections in Denmark to 23, including one case on the Faroe Islands.

Denmark bans flights from northern Italy as coronavirus infections rise to 156
Denmark will from Tuesday not allow incoming flights from areas considered high-risk due to coronavirus outbreak, the country has announced.
Prime minister Mette Frederiksen confirmed the measure on Tuesday as Denmark’s total number of coronavirus cases continued to rise.
Patient Safety Authority (Styrelsen for Patientsikkerhed) figures updated at 11am on Tuesday show 156 confirmed coronavirus cases in Denmark with 875 people in quarantine. That represents an increase of nearly 100 over 24 hours.
In addition to the Italian regions, the ban on flight arrivals encompasses all areas designated “red” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its assessment of coronavirus risk, meaning it advises against all travel (not just non-essential travel) to those areas.
