In response to the outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan, Mainland China, the CDC has started boarding and quarantine on direct flights from Wuhan on December 31, 2019. It has carried out 8 flights and quarantined a total of 747 passengers and crew members, including 8 passengers with mild symptoms. After the assessment, they returned home to rest, including 2 people who were diagnosed with flu after medical treatment, 1 had a common cold, 1 had a fever, 1 had bronchitis and had a fever, and the other 3 were followed up and cared for by the local government health bureau. People are reminded that they will travel to Wuhan, China and its adjacent areas in the near future. Avoid visiting South China seafood markets and contact with birds and maintain good personal hygiene.
The CDH once again called for the current season of respiratory diseases such as influenza and pneumonia. People and local Taiwanese businessmen who plan to visit Wuhan or nearby areas in mainland China in the near future should implement personal protective measures such as washing hands with soap and coughing, and wearing masks. Contact with wild animals and birds, access to live poultry markets, or public places such as hospitals. If you have fever or flu-like symptoms when returning to China, you should take the initiative to inform airline personnel and airport and port quarantine personnel; if you experience the above symptoms after returning to China, you should wear a mask to seek medical treatment as soon as possible, and inform the physician of your travel history, occupation, and contact History and clustering (TOCC).
