    Saskatchewan announces 22 new cases of COVID-19

    As the number of COVID-19 cases rises in Saskatchewan, so does the number of those who have recovered from the virus.

    On Sunday, the province reported 22 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 156.

    Of those, five people are in the hospital including three in acute care and two in intensive care units.

    At least seven cases are the result of community spread, say health officials. The rest are travel-related or due to exposure at mass gatherings...

      Almost three weeks after the province reported its first case of COVID-19, Saskatchewan has announced its first two deaths related to the novel coronavirus.

      Both people were in their 70s and died on Sunday in separate parts of the province...

        The Saskatchewan government reported eight new cases of COVID-19 in the province on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 184.

        Health officials said four people are in hospital — one in intensive care in Regina and three are receiving care in Saskatoon.

        Twenty-one people are now reported to have recovered...

          The person was between 80 and 89 years old.

          In addition the province has announced nine new cases, bringing the total cases in Saskatchewan to 193.

          Four people in Saskatchewan remain in hospital. Three patients are receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon, and one is in ICU in Regina...

                    REGINA -- There are four new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, the province announced on Monday. For the first time since the novel virus was initially confirmed in the province, the number of new recoveries exceeded the number of new cases with 14.
