Belarus Covid-19 Cases and News - 73,784 cases, 738 deaths
MINSK, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 180 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, taking its total to 65,623, according to the country's health ministry.
There have been 536 new recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 56,915, the ministry added.
So far, 485 people have died from the disease in the country, including five over the past 24 hours, it said.
"The only security we have is our ability to adapt."
MINSK, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 171 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Saturday, taking its nationwide tally to 65,953, according to the country's health ministry.
There were 486 new recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 57,856, the ministry added.
So far, 495 people have died from the disease in the country, along with four deaths in the last 24 hours, it said.

MINSK, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 135 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking its total to 66,348, according to the country's health ministry.
Meanwhile, four new deaths were reported over the last 24 hours, bringing the nationwide count to 507, the ministry said.
It added that 58,592 people have recovered so far, including 302 in the last 24 hours.

Belarus's president, who claimed vodka and saunas could keep coronavirus at bay, has said he caught COVID-19 and recovered "on his feet" without showing any symptoms.
Sounding a defiant tone, Alexander Lukashenko said: "Today you are meeting a man who managed to survive the coronavirus on his feet. This is what doctors concluded yesterday. Asymptomatic."
He did not say when or how he might have contracted the virus.

As of 2 August, 68,166 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Belarus. The number of new infections per day is 99, the Healthcare Ministry reports.
62,943 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals (+47 patients in the 24 hours). A total of 571 coronavirus patients have died (+4 in the 24 hours) since the outbreak.

As of 4 August, 68,250 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Belarus. The number of new infections per day is 84, the Healthcare Ministry reports.
