    Abstract

This German study provides an overview of the prevalence of the severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in asymptomatic children aged 0-18 years from 13 March to 13 December 2020. National data published at the end of the study period showed that 14.1% of German citizens who had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 were under the age of 19 years.
