RSU Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo is one of the official H5N1 referral hospitals as in South Sulawesi.

Where are the results of the tests? Were any of these individuals positive? If the results were negative, why not announce it?

South Sulawesi had one confirmed human case of H5N1 in 2006. There is no reason why there could not be human cases on the island in 2012.

Although our attention is focused on the dozen or so other potential bird flu victims scattered around Indonesia this past week (link), we are not forgetting about these poor sick and dead individuals from the Gowa regency in South Sulawesi. The world deserves a response from the Ministry of health on the status of these individuals.
